Advertising Workbook - TASK 4

Advert 1
Product Name: Listerine Advert Commercial Mouthwash
Persusaive Techniques: This advert has statistics such as that the product kills 99.9% of bad bacteria.
Reptition of the names product LISTERINE so that it sticks in people head when they watch the advert. It states some facts that after brushing you teeth it only cleans a 1/4 of your mouth but LISTERINE does it all.
Product USP: The unique selling point is that they show you an animated example of how it works in your both which will grap the audience attention.

Advert 2

Product Name: Asda TV Advert 2009
Persusaive Techniques: In the advert they stated facts such as Asda produces packaging. Another fact that they stated is that Asda save money on fuel so then their costumers can save money on their breakfast cereal and also 4,000 prices lower this spring. The background music is very happy feel and refreshing.
Product USP: The unique selling point is that by shopping at Asda it is saving their costumers everyday.

Advert 2

Product Name: Rihanna Official Nivea Skin Commercial 2011
Persuasive Techniques: Reptition of the fact that the nivea cream has been around for 100 years, which is also a fact. Positive about it that in the advert it says that the cream has been used by different generations so the ad is appealing to everyone of all ages. The music playing in the background is calm and feel good.
Product USP: They used a famous artist song to play in the background California King Bed By Rihanna.
